What We Do

Our Sacramento therapists offer a compassionate and strength-based approach when helping clients work towards their goals.   We work with couples and individuals who come from all genders and orientations.

Therapy can be an incredibly healing experience when you’re ready to take that first step.  Often times it’s fear that holds us back from discovering that life we want for ourselves.  It’s okay to have that fear, the important thing is to acknowledge it and understand why it’s there.  Fear is our body’s way of warning us of possible dangers, and it might have even served you by protecting you in certain situations in the past. Sometimes that fear stops serving us and you realize it might be time to consider a change.  We are here to help you develop a goal for yourself that’s tailored to your needs at this moment of your life.

These are some common areas of focus we work with:

  • depression
  • parents of children with challenging behaviors
  • anxiety
  • trauma; including past child abuse, sexual assault or experience in combat
  • conflict between couples and families
  • working through feelings of grief
  • young adults who are transitioning from adolescence to adulthood

You might even be struggling with a challenge in your life that we haven’t listed here, perhaps feeling alone, maybe confused, or even hopeless.

Our counselors are ready to meet you exactly where you are at.  Each of us take the time to build a strong and trusting relationship with our clients.  It’s through this relationship we create with you where the foundation of change can begin.  Give us a call or send us an email so we can determine which counselor is the best fit for you!
